Supporting your mental and emotional health while living with a long-term condition
Living with a chronic illness affects more than just your body. It can shift your identity, your relationships, your sense of control — even your dreams for the future. Whether you're navigating a new diagnosis, managing complex symptoms, or dealing with years of being dismissed or misunderstood, therapy can offer a space to process, adapt, and move forward with clarity and strength.

You don’t have to do this alone.

I work with adults living with a wide range of chronic conditions, from autoimmune and connective tissue disorders to long COVID, fatigue syndromes, POTS, MCAS, and more. Many of my clients are intelligent, resourceful individuals who have spent years advocating for themselves in the medical system. They're not looking for toxic positivity, they want a thinking partner who gets it.

I’ve shared parts of my own journey with chronic illness in this personal blog series. If you’re looking for hope, validation, or just the feeling that someone gets it, you’re welcome to take a look.

In our work together, we can focus on:
-
Making sense of your story (including medical trauma or gaslighting)
-
Managing grief, identity changes, and uncertainty
-
Setting boundaries with family, work, and providers
-
Addressing stress, anxiety, and burnout
-
Improving communication and self-advocacy
-
Coping with fatigue, pain, and brain fog
-
Building emotional resilience and pacing strategies

I take a collaborative, compassionate approach that respects your lived experience. Our work can integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR for medical trauma, parts work, and other modalities — all at a pace that works for your body and nervous system.

You are more than your diagnosis.
Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about supporting your growth, insight, and quality of life, even when answers are incomplete. I believe in honoring your capacity, your intuition, and your right to feel heard and empowered.
